OUR HISTORY AND PROFESSIONAL AFFILLIATIONS

Inspired by the Society of Construction Law in the UK, Johan Beyers and Christoffel Ackermann formed The Society of Construction Law for Africa (SCLA) in 2013.

Affiliated to the SCL UK and with associate societies across Europe, the UK, Asia, UAE, Australia and New Zealand, the SCLA benefits from international support and resources.

Structured to keep member fees affordable to all, the society relies on the voluntary support and work of its members and the society is primarily managed electronically, offering resources online and communicating via email.
